Subculture Urban Cuisine And Cafe

Today my daughter and I really craved for some ramen. I did some Google review and found this restaurant called Subculture Urban Cuisine and Cafe in Nolensville. Upon arrival at this hard to find ( with no signs) tiny restaurant I saw a non Asian cashier and also apparently non Asian chefs in the kitchen and the menu with mixture of ramen and burgers, an unusual menu combination. I had no high hopes for the Ramen. But we decided to give it a try anyways as we were hungry. We ordered a ramen with pulled pork and spicy chicken. When the food came out we were so pleasantly surprised how authentic the food was. The broth was just right and so flavorful and the noodles had the perfect texture. The spicy chicken had a really nice flavor that's better than Hattie B. The restaurant is owned by a Chilean family. We were so impressed by their story of how the restaurant was opened and how they selectively picked each ingredient of their food and scrutinize their own work. You can tell how much

This restaurant is situated in a shopping mall several stores down from Kroger. I came to the area to try a Thai restaurant that’s closed on Tuesdays. No big deal…Yelp served up this great option with 4.5 stars and I’m also down to try a local spot! I asked for a suggestion and ordered the Quinoa Bowl + Hot Chicken. The food came out fairly quickly and everything was fresh, plated beautifully, and flavorful!!! I love when the unexpected turns out great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

By far one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in my LIFE. Great heat level with the hot and maintaining great flavor. Perfect additions to the hot chicken sandwich that you don't see at many other places. The bun was really perfect. Must try for hot chicken fans.
