Taste of China

We have enjoyed eating in & take out both here @ taste of China. I especially like that all the flavors are delivered to the table separate ie: the lemon chicken is not soaked in the lemon sauce. You can add as much or as little as you like. We alway get the honey walnut prawns yum. It’s a bit on the expensive side but we always have enough left over for lunch or dinner the next day…

Great hidden gem. My parents stopped by on our way home from SF to Bakersfield. My mom is Shandongese and grew up in Korea, so she was excited to see the Korean words in the window. Turns out my grandma knows some of the owner's relatives from back in Korea! We ordered zhajiang mian (炸醬麵), chao ma mian (炒馬湯麵), dry saute chicken with garlic sauce (幹烹雞翅), and some veggies. Everything was super-tasty and authentic Chinese-Korean food. They even served raw onions with pickled daikon and kimchi on the side! Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area!
