The ultimate in Mexican comfort food. Their chorizo, asada, and al pastor is the best around, and I'm always more than willing to make the nearly hour long drive for their tacos or sopes, my go-to. I always leave here full and satisfied, and the price is very reasonable. Since they've opened their new building, they have expanded and there is more seating. That was my biggest criticism of their last building, it was hard to find a seat when it was packed on the weekends. El Toro is definitely worth the drive if you want to experience something other than the same cookie cutter chain "Mexican restaurants".
Authentic Mexican food! Very busy and disorganized. Instead of waiting for them to call out your number, you're better off going up to the counter and calling out your number to them. Otherwise, it will be a looooooong wait to get your meal lol
Note: the restaurant is ACROSS THE STREET from the address on GMaps! Arrived to a factory looking spot with the restaurant name and someone was kind enough to tell me lol. So good and worthwhile in today’s economy!
