Apps were pretty good. Dinner took a turn. I ordered the goat cheese crespelle and it was 75% burnt. When myself and friend brought it up we were told the chef wants them cooked like that, it's his preference. Um what? Who wants the majority of their dinner burnt? Was not compensated what so ever nor was the issue fixed. I had to eat burnt crepes which would have been phenomenal had they been prepared correctly.
It’s hit-and-miss from the food perspective. I was recommended the eggplant parm and it was a little dry and slightly overcooked. Spaghetti was really good on the other hand. Appetizers and deserts were ok as well. The service was excellent and I will definitely give it another chance!
Everytime we visit, we're at least a party of 6-7. Most of their entres are quite palatable and the portion is okay for the price paid. Really good garlic bread! Waiter will always make sure the custom order is made right. Evenings are quite busy and takes a lot of time to get drinks as well as food. Just wine takes (party of 8) 15 minutes. Food takes around 25 min, which is a lot comaped to the 20% + additional tip paid. (~$120). Check Outdoor seating and book ahead of time for groups.
