Deep South Taco

Great options from tacos, to nachos, to street corn. The apps all looked great and it was hard to choose one. Vegan tacos available (potatoes, pictured) They were good, especially with the various sauces on the table. There's a pan of personal nachos and a full size pan. We got the personal and could split it between two of us. The prices are a little high for 1 taco. Wish the chips and salsa were complimentary for the high price of everything. Edit to Add: The waitress was working the whole patio at lunch time and she was phenomenal. She did not skip a beat and was super nice.

I stopped in here before a Peter Gabriel concert for an early dinner around 4pm. I had the Carne asada, Carnitas, Pollo Verde and Pollo Pibil tacos and they were all outstanding. The atmosphere was relaxed and breezy and my server was friendly and apologetic for seemingly not being attentive at first but she was working alone at the moment and was trying her best so I tipped her well because life is a struggle and I had her bring out food three times because I wasn't sure how much I could initially eat, so I kept adding tacos they were so good. I didn't drink the alcohol (so i can't comment on that---people seemed to be enjoying their summery drinks) because my friend Lucy was kicking in and I was really in that lively headspace enjoying the 80s music they had playing not annoyingly loudly. I probably burned 100 calories just bopping up and down the whole time like a weirdo on drugs. Be safe everyone and tip generously especially if you're on a lil' vacation and budgeted for good vib

The service was amazing! Our server went out of her way to make sure the boys and I had a great experience. It has a nice interior design that felt fun. The food was good and not expensive. The kitchen turned everything around very quickly. Could have been happier.
