a really nice place to go if you’re looking for some really good food in the bellaire area! the food is always consistent, and tastes great everytime. my personal favorite would be the salt toasted tofu, for it is the best tofu I have had, ever. i also really like their vegetable fried rice. the staff is also nice, and serves food quickly. the place also has some nice lighting, and definitely reccommend! the parking lot is also pretty big as well.

When you’re hungry and no one can decide where to go…it will be Tan Tan. This is our comfort food. You can never go wrong whatever you order. Our family has been coming to this restaurant since early 1990s. Now that I hv college children, we still come here. We usually order the wonton noodle soup, crispy seafood noodles, house special fried rice and green beans with minced pork (plus other dishes). This time, coming here with friends, we ordered the sweet pecan shrimps, congee soup, seafood soup, sweet and sour pork and garlic water chestnuts. Different than usual, but all good! This is a Houston Chinatown tradition.
