5 stars for the Spanish rice (their rice is not Mexican) and a LACKLUSTER for the wait staff. First off - get the molotes! They are amazing! Second - the interior looks amazing and the vibe is fresh and friendly! Third - The food is average but it does have some beacons of amazing sprinkled in. The Spanish rice - just like my mom makes! Really good! I had a margarita and it was tasty. A little sweet, but I enjoyed it. As far as all the other items I ordered, so so. Finally - conversation and attentiveness from the staff was non existent. I like some conversation from waiters and bartenders, and I watched them talk to each other more than me! No recommendations, no small talk and definitely nothing worth tipping my standard 20%. Although I did! I would go back again. I may not be a local, but I’m in the area often. The menu has a lot to offer and the potential for greatness is there. The area/neighborhood is a little shaky so be careful.

First time visit. We were excited at first because the chips and salsa were very good. We ordered guacamole to go along with that and again great taste and fresh. I asked what they were known for and was told tacos, Duh. Unfortunately, this was the major downfall of our visit. It was 3 tacos for $9 so we decided to each try 6 styles of taco. The Pastor pork was good not great, but the rest were rough. I even spit out the chorizo taco because it was that bad once I took my first bite. The steak and chicken were both dry and hard, almost as if it was leftovers. If it wasn't for the guacamole I would be at 1 star. I had high hopes for this place, but my first visit will be my last. The service was excellent even though the food missed its mark.

Service was good. As for the food it could have been better. Rice was a bit overcooked and Beans felt like play-duh, they weren’t as mushy. Overall I enjoyed the environment. I almost forgot the menu I was given was dirty, it had like dried out sauce in it.
