Tacos Guanajuato

Food was first class. Service was slow. The Cochinita taco was moist, succulent and savory. Slow stewed to perfection. The fish and lamb tacos were similarly good. Made with care and attention. I'd bet everything on the menu is great. Taking a star off because the service was slow and absent. Came in during lunch when speed should be a priority. It took 10 minutes for someone to take my order and 25 more more for the food to come. $26.46 before tip for 3 tacos and a beer, so not exactly the most value priced around.

Loved the vibe, the vibrant colors, the food, and the rosemary blackberry marg!! My friends and I loved the high tops too. It was a great time. The waitress was a bit slow though. So not many water refills or attention to us throughout the time there. Also definitely spent more than we thought it would cost honestly…

Food was decent somewhat authentic. High prices for what it is. I got the queso fundido which was okay. Served with flour tortillas I was expecting corn tortillas. Torta cubana was my dinner. It was tasty and big enough to fill two people. Hot sauces were spicy and rice and beans were delicious! My wife got the steak fajita burrito which I enjoyed taking a bite and my wife loved it. I came in a night where they had a guitarist. This guy very rude and unfriendly , he must of been late because he rudely cut me and my wife off at the main entrance without saying anything. This so called artist kept opening the door to get his tune right which made the restaurant cold. The host was unpleasant and not welcoming at all and made a remark when we didn’t want to see the drink menu ( I chose not to drink.) Maybe I’ll come back, but most likely not. Specially with the hires they choose to help run that place.
