Must Try Dishes
When dining at Tacombi in New York, you absolutely must try their Falda Taco, which is beautifully seasoned braced beef served on a homemade soft corn tortilla. Another favorite is the Maíz y Poblano Taco; we're talking about crispy corn kernels and poblano peppers nestling inside a fresh, soft corn tortilla. Don't forget to sample their breakfast tacos that will definitely kickstart your day especially when paired with their freshly brewed Cafe de Olla. Lastly, their unparalleled crispy fish taco and the classic avocado toast are always crowd-pleasers.

The idea is very interesting as the main goal is to make you feel like you're in a taqueria in Mexico. And to be honest they do a great job with the aesthetic, (chairs, tables etc) but that's until the food comes to you. Totally mid experience when it comes to that, tacos we're pretty overpriced for what you get which is a mostly dry taco that you have to drown in salsa (have to admit their salsa game was on point) for it to be acceptable. Expect to spend somewhere around $50, in my case 7 tacos, 2 quesadillas and 2 beers we're about $100 with tip. My advice, save your money and go to Tacos el n°1, it'll cost you $20 less for something significantly better.
The service here was the best part about the evening... The waiters, the kitchen staff, the hostess, they were all soooooooo incredibly nice, it shook us!!! Service was super fast, food was excellent!!!! Can’t complain about anything, we loved it!!!! We had corn esquites, guacamoles and chips(totopos) and tacos, everything tasted freshly made and flavorful!!! Will definitely be back to this location in the future, my now favorite Tacombi!!!!
Came here looking for tacos & got the best corn esquites! So delish! The Al Pastor taco was a nice sweet and spicy flavor, I added pepper sauce to everything. Drinks were good. The service was top notch! The food was served warm to touch & so after talking, drinking, & nibbling it got cold pretty quickly. So my only recommendation would be serving it on hotter plates or something along those lines.
