The service was nice and friendly and I appreciated the salsa bar. However the meat for the tacos was inedible. I got three tacos 3 different kinds of meat and it was nothing but BIG chunks of globby FAT no meat for most of it. It was noon on the weekend so there shouldn't be a "end of the day outage". I took it home and fed it to my dog. I can't stand the rubbery pieces of chewy gristle.
Order at the counter and pick up your food when they call you, i.e. everything is made to order. Our group had the nachos, flaunts, street tacos, and tacos Americano-- a pretty broad sampling. Each of us enjoyed our dish. Serving size and quality were good value for the price. Friendly staff. Don't miss the salsa bar with three excellent and flavorful options.
I live south of the twin cities, but anytime I come to a conference at the Hilton Double Tree I am sometimes MORE EXCITED that I get to eat Taco Libre. Great staff, great food. I’m gonna keep coming back. IWNDWYT
