Wow! Is all i have to say, walked in at 6:15pm (they close at 7pm!)try to order a #1 the lady proceeds to tell me "um our grill is already off so we cant make anything more, and we only have tacos or nachos left from earlier bt we cant make anything fresh" so i say okay lets do a #1 and sub the enchilada for a taco. She looked at me all angry and say's well thats an add on charge, we dont substitute items you have to pay extra. I am baffled and explain that she is the requiring the substitution she replies to me in the most rude tone ever "maybe you should just come back earlier next time" mind blown! I say thanks and walk out. Very disappointing we eat here all he time and have never ran into this, i guess its hard to find good help these days. I feel sorry for he owner who is loosing massive business, as i walked out, 3 people walked in and 2 cars pulled up.
I don't know what it is about this dive taco shop...I find it absolutely delicious ???? I love the nachos and the huge soft shell tacos ! You either love it or hate it either way one of the best kept secrets in Des Moines !
Best tacos en town 100% recommended the hot salsa is very good
