Part of the quirky Tabard hotel, the restaurant is cute and intimate. We only had breakfast and while somewhat reasonable for the area, it did not blow my socks off. The menu is small and strange. A lot of people seem to love the brunch, probably out of the novelty of the place. According to the menu, it said it makes the scones daily, but mine was definitely not fresh and was microwaved. Husband had the spinach omelette, which he said was fine. The cappuccino was okay. I really wish they would step it up in the kitchen. Such as cute place. Service was okay.

Seriously. I’d give a 6 star if I could. Have not tasted a better chicken and waffles. Their waffles is a churro! And the chicken was done perfectly. Crispy, not too oily. And even the Eggs Benedict had a surprising buttery twist to it. Coffee wasn’t out of this world but it was fine. The atmosphere in the garden was cute too. My companion and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

used to be pretty popular pre-covid, during recent visit short staffed so a bit slow service. the patio can also get quite muggy and the indoor dining are a bit dated and dark. the food is ok but probably not going for if it's out of your way or not staying around .
