T5 Eatery

T5 Eatery is absolutely, hands down, a business to be reckoned with. The food is outstanding, fresh and the customer service is beyond exemplary. Last week, I took a chance on breakfast and ordered the oxtail and grits breakfast. Listen Lindas and Larrys-PHENOMENAL!! The meal came with 3 large oxtails, the creamiest seasoned grits, scrambled eggs, toast and even included a strawberry. Presentation is everything when I eat out and T5 did not disappoint. Today, I ordered via door dash and forgot to order their amazing house punch, so I called. I spoke to "nephew", advised him I was placing another door dash order and requested he put it with my previous order. "Nephew" says, "No ma'am, don't place another order. I will add your punch to the order-no worries." In a time of uncertainty and on the heels of COVID-19, many businesses are struggling to get on solid ground financially. Where is the excellent food that the reviews speak about? This is my first time that my wife ordered delivery which came out to $27.82 (BOGO deal???!) .. bottom line: she should have ordered from first watch. The food is definitely overpriced. The portions was 2 thin dark crested pork chops, looks like one scrambled egg each tray, one strawberry, one half orange slice per tray, and very thin sliced bread that was saturated and margarine ( I hope), and grits so thick in a separate bowl that I could slice a knife through it. I really think her food was cooked 20 minutes before the driver got there. The food was battling lukewarm once it arrived (total 50 mind) Google GPS said that this place was 8 minutes away. The fool should have still literally been hot.

Nice location, friendly staff. Could be a bit more efficient with an additional employee.
