Sushiko

I came here for a birthday lunch with my husband. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. Our hostess was very friendly too, I struggle with anxiety while going out so a friendly staff is always greatly appreciated.

The sushi, service and eating area are all on point! Definitely on my top list for great sushi in Bakersfield. As an update to this post, if I could give 6 stars I would. The ambiance, layout and design are very traditional with a modern twist. Also as being on the Keto diet lately, they were more than accommodating with not only providing me with what I wanted, but also additional items that I didn't know would fit my diet! Easily one of my best experiences at a sushi restaurant.

Food was great. The first time. Takes 30 to 40 or more minutes though in person so tried to call ahead and they WILL NOT answer the phone to call for pickup. They'd rather force you to use a 3rd party app to place your order than have direct business with you sadly. They also randomly decide not to "do udon" so we are over it. SORT reviews by time. Past six months seems the place is going to garbage. So many similar in Bakersfield sadly
