Señor Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

Came Sunday around 5. Sat immediately, but definitely was crammed at a table for four in a tiny booth. Food prices were on a laminated sheet behind the condiments on the table (what). Chips were stale and tasted like they came from a bag. Drinks came out (regular margaritas), tasted nothing but mix. Glasses were clearly hot before drinks were added. Ordered enchilada suizas, chicken was SO DRY! Other foods were just OK I think the best thing tasted were the fries (can’t really mess that up). The worst part of all, there was a credit card fee!!! I didn’t recall seeing a sign about this but nothing stuck out about that fee. I understand that it’s a convenience for the hotel and rosedale highway, but I do not recommend anyone to come despite convenience. We will not return.

Great place that’s a little hidden but good and service is really great. Nice atmosphere as well and of course food is great too. One of the better if not best nice Mexican restaurants in the Rosedale area.

We usually do a yearly family dinner here that is about 20 or so people. They have plenty of space to seat all of us. Even there last time when they lost our reservation they had no trouble seating us right away. The restaurant was busy and that didn't pose an issue. The food is always great here (which is why we go here when I'm in town). The only negative I have to say is the pricing is higher than I'm used to. Vegetarian options: Bean enchiladas (yes refried beans), Bean Taco most waiters look confused when you order it but it is good good good
