Sushibachi

Sushibachi is an amazing spot.!! My wife and I decided to come here for date night and we are so glad we did. We had the Texas roll the crunch roll and the hibachi chicken with extra chicken cuz we're so extra. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. The Texas roll is my favorite it's just a little bit spicy but delicious! The crunch roll didn't have a ton of flavor but good nonetheless we recommend this place to anybody who loves good sushi but also love some hibachi. Give them a try you won't be disappointed really polite service clean atmosphere and the tables are so trippy they reflect light and the music is really kind of hip! ????????$5 recommended for sure

We had never eaten here before and hoped it would be a nice competitor sushi restaurant since there's not a lot of variety in Denton. But unfortunately when we recieved our order it was pre-made to the point the avocado was browned and made up most of our sushi. No fish taste was there, we ordered 3 different rolls to get a variety and we were very disappointed. The only dish that was tasty was their vegetable roll.

"And would you like a side of sushi with your mayonnaise?" I ordered a poke bowl thinking I was getting something *light* and *fresh*, but when it arrived I was disappointed to see it is DROWNING in mayonnaise and eel sauce. Like... this is a sarcastic amount of mayonnaise. I am a sushi fanatic, and have *never* seen this much mayo dumped over raw fish in my life. Even in Texas ???? I'd guess there's probably, conservatively, over 1/4 cup of mayonnaise on this fish. "Was this perhaps intended to be a mayonnaise-based soup?" I wonder to myself. I thought it might be edible if I mixed the poke bowl all together, but it just made the entire meal taste like I'm eating mayonnaise rice that one time might have sat next to fish for ~2 minutes. *gag* Even though it is easily the worst poke bowl I've ever had, still 2 stars because the fish itself is fresh and tbh probably would have been wonderful otherwise. But it's not like I can take the mayo off, so we'll never know. For mayonnaise LOVERS
