The inside is kind of strange and the staff could be more polite/helpful. I really enjoy eel, but this place unfortunately doesn't know how to properly prepare it. Everything else seems to be tasty though! Really enjoy their gyozas and the tiger roll. So if you like unagi, consider elsewhere, otherwise it's good.
Not worth the prices. I have seen this place every time I shop at the Trader Joe’s next door, but finally got around to trying it for the first time. It has a rather massive interior for a sushi-go-round, very nice and clean. I was the only diner in there at 11:30 am on a Tuesday, so I was hoping for the best. The fish all seemed fresh, though the yellowtail had a partially dry texture and the albacore was ‘fishier’ in flavor than it should have been. The main disappointment I have with this place is the portion sizes. Every piece of fish was so thin it could be considered a veneer. It was so underwhelming that I left hungry despite getting six plates of sushi. For the prices they charge, even with inflation, I was hoping for more, but got less. Not going back.
Cheese wontons were horrible. Probably the hardest and thickest wonton I've ever tried to eat. The Katsu was by far the driest Katsu I've ever had. It was like chewing leather. Whoever they had making their rolls didn't even put the right ingredients in them. Most rolls were missing at least one ingredient like cream cheese, avocado or cucumber. All in all very disappointed with this one. Will not go back. Not at all like the one in Vancouver, WA that I was a regular at.
