Recommended while in Denver by a friend. So good! Used to drive to Aurora, for all you can eat. The problem was that the quality was going down to keep the price down. Not this place!! Quality is the best way to describe Sushi Den! From the moment we walked in. No reservation, and asked they seat wherever was quickest on a Friday evening ~6pm. Got seated at the full service cocktail bar immediately. We were the only folks up there. Felt bad for the poor server, but it's good for us because we had the best service! He was super knowledgeable and knew all the ingredients to the rolls he promoted as well as the ones we asked about. He was like a sushi sommelier! We got Gyoza, and then 6 rolls. Crispy Bincho Roll, spider roll, new style salmon, rock-n-roll, rainbow, and their new red Dragon roll. All had so much fish ( the biggest portions on Rolla I've ever seen) and were so fresh and delicious. They also didn't all come out at once. Our server timed them impeccably, and as we'd finish a
Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. They fly sushi in from Japan daily and all of it was incredible and not run of the mill sushi you could get anywhere. We had a waitress who gave us recommendations we followed fully to great success. This is THE Denver sushi spot, don’t miss it.
I mean, at this point isn't this place a Denver institution? The best sushi in town. Highly recommend reservations, and if you do, highly recommend the Chef's Table. You can chat with the sushi chef and learn about what you're eating. So cool! Everything is absolutely delicious. The chefs are very knowledgeable. I got a piece of chocolate cake and lychee sorbet for my birthday. Thankfully no singing. All in all, a must visit if sushi is your thing. No parking lot, and it's a busy street, so cab or Lyft would be your best bet. No REAL dress code, but I'd probably say smart casual would be enough.
