Sushi Blues is the Glenwood South spot for good sushi! Glenwood Ave frontage and next to popular bars and clubs. Large open front patio seating with large benches and tables custom built by the owner, quick service and a great bar. Stop here for a drink before heading out or grab a bar table for BOGO sushi rolls. Wednesday and Sunday are half-price bottles of wine specials. Sushi Blues has been a long-time hot spot in Raleigh and the sushi is excellent. Love this place for meeting friends!
I don't usually love eating outside, but I took a chance here at Sushi Blues Cafe. I was comfortable and clean. People passing by (we were right there at the sidewalk) didn't bother us at all. The food was SERIOUSLY AMAZING! It was one of the best I have ever had. It was so flavorful, which I don't usually get eating Sushi. I didn't have to depend on the Wasabi and soy sauce for flavor. Maybe I don't get to go to enough good Sushi places, but this one was amazing. The service was excellent. The price point was okay for me. I also loved that you could bring your dog too. I didn't have my fur baby with me this time, but I did add a picture of someone else who did that day. That's my 2¢ now you decide ????
Not my favorite sushi place in the area. They focus more on cheeky names for the rolls than the quality of the food.
