Good haddock fish fry. One of the best in Raleigh! Great place to go on Glenwood South if you're trying to get away from the younger/college night life scene and just chill for a bit in a quieter place. Live music sometimes, a bonus! Parking: Be careful..... If you park in a nearby paid lot, don't go over your time limit, you WILL get a ticket in this area!
My mom and I's experience here was amazing! We came in pretty late and we were needing to take out food because the waiters needed to go home but one woman was kind enough to take care of us anyway. She definitely didn't have to, it was very sweet! She was amazing and the food was just incredible. It really hit the spot and exceeded my expectations. I can't reccomend this place enough!
Good Irish pub. Beer specials on Tuesday night. Fun group setting. A nice pub. Cold beer, traditional Irish pub food and solid standbys like fish and chips. The dip sampler was excellent! We got a table near the front windows and it was great for people watching. There are picnic tables outside for seating, and lots of seating inside. Great place for a casual date or a group of friends. Parking might be a challenge but after 6:00 you have free street parking on the weekdays. That was nice! We had great service as well. The bartender doubled up and waited on us and she was excellent.
