Really wanted to give this place a 5, but it just didn't wow. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, but there was something wrong (albeit very small) with both dishes I ordered. Ramen was 4.5/5, excellent broth and noodles but I got a tiny piece of pork. For $17, there's gotta be more than that... broth and noodles are not that expensive, egg was also way overcooked, it's supposed to be soft boiled. As for the 20 piece nigiri platter, 3.5/5, the surf clams had no flavor, and I hate filler fish. The halibut and sea bass also tasted like they were defrosted. The rice was wayyyy to dry to be considered sushi rice. I'll give props, the eel and the standard cuts of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail were top notch for being in Colorado. I'll give this place another try when it's not super busy, the chefs were definitely rushing. Service, drink selection, and vibe were great.
