I was in town for the anime convention Otakon held at the Walter E White Convention Center. We really wanted sushi and this place has a bit of everything! I tried their Katsu Curry, which is not pictured but was so amazing! The chicken curry dish is pictured but was a special, also very delicious. We had the volcano roll, a spicy tuna roll, california roll, miso soup, edamame, ramen, a bento box (also not pictured but had a lot!), a delicious udon soup with vegetables, bread pudding, & I tried the Lychee drink and it was not only beautiful but delicious!! We ended up going there two days in a row because we wanted to try everything! We also ate indoors ans were seated next to a cherry blossom window piece which is my favorite! It's very cute inside and we also ate outside which was great. Everything we had was super delicious and we had the pleasure of having the same very nice waitress two days in a row!! If I lived in the Washington DC area I would 100% go here all the time! 10/10 re
This is the best sushi restaurant in city center Washington Dc. The food was delicious and service is excellent. I definitely recommend this place.
Had a salmon (sake) don and a scallop nigiri. Salmon was of good quality and so was the scallop. Its a shame that the rice was soggy and not of good quality. Not sure if it's a thing in Washington DC or maybe I was unlucky. I ordered a takeaway from another local sushi place and the rice was also too soft.
