Great place for Belgian beer and mussels and frites. There are four types of mussels on the menu and the frites come with three different Mayo based dipping sauces. They also sometimes have happy hours specific to certain beer companies. And they know a lot about beer. Nice that it's open now since it was closed for the pandemic. They have a really large patio without outdoor seating.
Truly a K Street gem and worth a detour. The weather was stunning and the outdoor patio was made for happy hour half pots of mussels and delightful Belgian beers. Well-seasoned fries and a Gulden Draak ease your cares away under the constant and excellent service. The beer selection is immense and will give you much to select from in the Belgian styles. The indoor seating strikes a balance between a traditional restaurant and Belgian pub with a bar and adjacent long tables. Really quite a delight and will certainly warrant a second visit in the near future.
Dined here at Brasserie for an early dinner - with my now - lovely partner. If I must say, the service we received during dinner was excellent. I’d say too excellent to where we were both interrupted as we took bites from our entree’s and or where we were deep in a conversation. I am not complaining. Just express how the restaurant wasn’t as busy as we had anticipated it to be. I ordered a New York Strip. Very delicious. Paired my entrée with a Woodford Old Fashioned Smoked. We both had an amazing time here. Definitely enjoyed the ambience and wine cooler display.
