Supreme fish

My first time at restaurant where I dined in. Ordered catfish & shrimp dinner. Fish was tasty and so was shrimp. Fries was hot. The tarter sauce was not good, but I prefer hot sauce anyway so it made little difference to me. The hush puppies was too chewy on the inside but outside was perfect. They were courteous to me and service was quick. Though I was the only one in restaurant when I left, I was not acknowledged as I left. I may sound picky but feel the new customers should be treated as if you'd like them to become regulars like the many take-out customers received greetings and salutations as I watched. Only received 3 stars because food, price, and service was good. Nothing spectacular but what is to be expected from a semi fast food restaurant. I would go again.

Very good food! We are truck drivers passing through and seen this place. Thankful we tried it. My fish sandwich was excellent. My husband loved the croaker dinner. Also got bean pies for dessert but we are too full to eat them yet. Fish sandwich was huge!

Okay, so this is my new go-to fish restaurant. I called my order in. The gentleman that answered the phone was pleasant and courteous. When I got there, my order was ready and hot. As I was preparing to pay for my food a gentleman asked me if I could buy him something to drink. The person who rung me up forgot to add the drink to my order, but he gave the guy a free large drink. This says a lot about who I’m assuming is the owner. I’m all for helping those in need. So, if this was the only thing that I had to compliment them on, then I’d still give them a 5-star rating. But wait, there’s more… When I got home, oh, the food was delicious. I ordered a whiting salad and fried shrimp. The salad ingredients were fresh, the whiting was seasoned so well, and the shrimp was nice and crisp (also seasoned well). This was just what I was craving and better than I expected. They are generous with their portion. Great value for the price. Definitely will visit again.
