Miso soup is delicious. Customer service can be hit or miss. I really try to give this place chance after chance, because I thoroughly enjoy the miso soup. But customer service is lacking whether on the phone or in person.
My family and I (we were a party of 11) just left this restaurant and I was so disappointed that I had to leave a review. This was our first time here and I let our server know, but when I would ask questions about the food, she was impatient and rude. The hibachi chef was pleasant and the other staff were nice, but not our waitress at table #8. I had to order another dish with the hostess and my dad had to get up and get someone else for a refill. This would’ve been tolerable if the 18% gratuity wouldn’t have been included. I’ve worked as a server and I know that when gratuity is included, you have to make sure you earned it. Our server barely came to our table to check on us. Wasabi in Douglasville is much better in terms of service and food. We paid $243 for our meal at Sumo and it was NOT worth it.
