Suga & Spice

Came here for a late lunch during black restaurant week. The food was pretty good and flavorful, but a bit over priced & the service was just ok. I got the stuffed jerk salmon, which wasn't actually stuffed & was a bit under cooked. The greens & mac n cheese were seasoned well, and the jerk shrimp deviled eggs had a nice flavor. My first visit and I must say the service was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, the environment was very clean and the food was certainly delicious!! We had the deep fried lobster w/eggs and cheese, potatoes and grits, hot honey wings, jerk deviled eggs w/fried shrimp and the hot honey fried shrimp. Sorry but these are the only pics I was able to take. Bomb!

Our meal was hot and flavorful and the drinks were great. It’s sad that I can’t say the same about the deserts. For around $9.00 each we ordered two slices of cake. We receive two really really really thin slices of cake. The slice of cake was so thin, one of the cake turned over inside of the container while we were transporting it and it was in pieces. I do not recommend, anyone to purchase any slices of cake from Suga & Spice. The staff was helpful and friendly. A limited amount of meters street parking is available in the front of the restaurant and a limited amount of free parking is available in the rear parking lot.
