Elevation Burger

$20 for lukewarm soggy fries and a small dry chicken sandwich....

Exceptionally tasty burgers (and meatless/chicken options for those who prefer). Staff are beyond courteous and professional and eager to accommodate special requests. The indoor space is well ventilated with a lovely outdoor patio available as well. A lovely addition to the Hyattsville route 1 arts district! Parking: Available on the street (30 mins free) or a shirt walk to the back parking lot (free and unlimited)

My kids suggested this restaurant to us, having gone there before. And I was very pleased with the food. The only thing that put a damper on our visit was the chalkboard. They have a whole board of drawings, and my daughter wanted to add one. But when she asked if they had any chalk left, the people working told her the board was finished and that there was no more space. Nothing about only workers being able to make pictures, or even being worried about germs left on the board. Just that there was no more space. Even though(see image) there was clearly space left on it. All my daughter wanted to do was put a small, inspirational message- and she wasn't even able to do that. TL;DR: The food was good, but our experience was blemished by bad customer service.
