Sueño Modern Mex-Tex

If you’re looking for great “Mex-Tex”, this place just might be for you. Yes, I wrote Mex-Tex, as this is what they serve which is different than Tex-Mex. These pics were taken on a Sunday right as they opened up, we went there for brunch that day. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic! We have been dining here for several months and they are consistent in the quality of their food and the quality of their service. Oh and did I mention their craft cocktails, the bar staff is incredible and the drinks are really good. Whether it’s one of their old fashions or a spicy Margarita, chances are… they’ve got something for you. There are a few TV’s at the bar to follow your favorite teams. Their brunch is equally great. We dine here at night and on the weekends for brunch. The ambiance is great as well. They play good music and the place has a good vibe. They have done a wonderful job of totally remaking wgat was a plain and unremarkable restaurant into something special. As you can see, their presentation is beautiful and memorable. Cocktails are really fun and tasty, food has a fresh approach and very high standard.

Had a great early Sunday dinner here. Sauces and salsas we’re pretty tasty and the service was great. The quesadilla platter was my favorite, but the brisket tacos weren’t too far behind. The green salsa was good on everything, as were the spicy beans on the side. I didn’t have a cocktail but the menu looked really interesting and lots of folks were enjoying some fancy drinks with their Amex-Tex.
