Subway

The toppings were looking bad... lettuce slightly brown and tomatoes too soft.

I used the drive thru here last week bc I haven’t had subway since I got pregnant (produce parasites or something?) and then moved states so, my kid is almost 1 and I NEEDED a subway sandwich. I usually get a footling, eat half, and save the rest, but on this occasion, I had to eat the whole thing and then grab a bag of chips. I asked for a grilled chicken w/ veggies, and it was the greatest disappointment; it was literally all bread with a little Mayo. There were maybe 6 pieces of shredded lettuce, a few olives, to be honest, I don’t even remember tasting the chicken. Idk if it’s franchises and the manager is trying to it cost by using 10% of the regularly expected ingredients, but it’s not working. The lady at the speaker was nice, so 1 star. I won’t be returning to this location bc I didn’t enjoy being robbed.

Subway has fresh bread, vegetables and meats. While you CAN make your own, it is a GREAT option for a quick picnic in almost any outdoor location.
