Stroud's Oak Ridge Manor

I was there for a company function along with 16 others. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was rustic and inviting. Personally, I found the food to be bland. The catfish was served with the server removing removing the bones which was impressive. I thought it was greasy as well as the cottage fries. Certainly not crispy. The chicken wings were good and the cinnamon rolls were delicious. Probably wouldn't go back on my own.

Best fried chicken in Kansas City- served family style! We've gone twice now and we never are able to eat everything-plan on having leftovers! Huge portions and if you do manage to empty the serving (say mashed potatoes) they refill it! We skipped the appetizer both times because you really don't need it. Great place for a large group but I do recommend calling a reservation in for a table!

This was a place I'd heard about and everyone was saying you gotta try that pan fried chicken. However, I'm from the south so we grew up eating pan fried chicken. But I went to try it out and it was really good. I can see why Midwesterners would freak out about it. The sides were giant and shareable. So be warned. It was a little pricey for what it was but Bidenflation can't be stopped. It is what it is. I recommend you try it at least once! ????
