Steve B Waterfront Cafe

Steve B's is an unique joint to be sure. Dive bar best describes this locals hang out. Steve the owner turned his realty office into a little bar to hang out with his friends it seems. A great place to meet with some local rascals and solve the world's problems while playing some ring toss.

I would give it a zero if I could. Me and the wife ordered a Boars Head hot dog, pretty self explanatory right? He brings out two white meat hot dogs. When I asked why they were white he told me they were veal. We didn’t eat them and told him we didn’t like veal and asked why Veal doesn’t show up on the description and got no answer. Just a question, do you want something else? My wife said yes, pulled pork sandwich, and we shared it. We got charged $36 dollars for two uneaten hot dogs and a pulled pork on a Publix hamburger roll with no seasoning. The waiter/owner was also rude when asked why he doesn’t put veal in the description on the menu.

So, this was an odd experience. This definately has a dive feel, but also the feel that this place doubles as a storage unit and is also the "rec room" for whomever owns this place. It's September, and there is a Christmas tree in the corner. Not sure if they start celebrating early, or just real late taking down decorations. We are new to the area. My wife having lived in Germany wanted to explore a "bier garden". This establishment was recommended by google. However, i've never been to a "bier garden" that had nothing on tap. I asked for a beer (bottle) in their display case, as did my wife. (diffrent brands). They had neither. We were probably fortunate that they did have our 2nd choice. We ordered food, it was nothing to write home about. Mind you, it wasn't bad, but they offered me nothing I couldn't do at home... much better.
