Tim is an amazing server, superior service, super cute place. Man was chill as hell and served all 7 of us amazingly.
Had rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding here and it was great! The manager, Tim, was awesome. Very polite and accommodating for our needs. And extremely helpful with menu planning . The staff was great as well. And the food,, delicious, especially the poutine fries ! Just an all around fantastic experience! I would definitely recommend The Standard !
Came for the mimosas and the live entertainment in hopes that the food would also be good but sadly disappointed. Our waitress did not really provide recommendations even after I couldn't decide on what to get. I ended up getting chicken and waffles and another waiter came over after we ordered to go over what dishes are more popular and gave a great description of each. Some of which sounded really good but I had already ordered the chicken and waffles; which ordered had no flavor whatsoever. The waffles just tasted like uncooked dough, even had my friend who I dined with tried it and she felt they might have forgotten to include something in the batter. She liked the chicken and I thought it was just ok. Tasted like that seasoned the breading with a ranch dressing. The vegan sandwich she had was made in house...the meat was a little thin other than that it had good flavor.
