Steak 'n Shake

I was served the most horrendous food. Burnt tasting fries with a ton of salt, I guess to try and smother the smell and taste. Plus the burger looked 5 days old and the bacon never touched any heat. Stop serving up garbage before you make someone sick..smh AND YES THAT JUNK WENT IN THE GARBAGE..,

I should have taken a picture, but a couple weeks ago, when all of our food went bad because of the power outage, I came to Steak 'N Shake. They were very polite, and timely. When I got home with my food and opened my box to my burger, it looked like something out of a magazine or commercial! It was so nicely put together, and tasted delicious as well. I appreciated the care that was considered when putting my burger together that day. Very pleased.

What happened here? I am accustomed to being greeted at the door by friendly waitstaff. Here there were 4 machines and no employees in sight. I thought this was Steak 'n Shake, not McDonald's? Do they really want to be more McDonald's like? My order was submitted at the kiosk, but wrong on delivery. Waitstaff did correct the issue, but were not pleased. I hope this is not a nationwide trend and merely a one location issue.
