I was on the 1,700-mile road trip when I saw the sign for steak and shake. Instantly pulled into the diner, unfortunately you have to order everything through a dumb tablet but the food was amazing. They were out of ketchup at the time but I'm sure that was fixed. Service is great, people working behind the counter prepared the food in a timely manner & we're very nice.
Beware this lo location when it's busier or if you have somewhere to be, you'll likely be waiting 30+ minutes in the drive-thru. Other than that it's good. Food is always hot and well put together. … More
After a absolutely terrible experience at the Steak n Shake in the Bluffs ... I contacted this Steak n Shake (see my review for the other Steak n Shake). Tracy the manger at this location promptly made my food and gave the me the phone number for their franchise owner so I can voice my complaints and concerns from the location in the Bluffs. Cliff Notes Version of that experience: The 'manager' refused to make my food or refund me ... called me the B word and said I'm the Franchise owner now what. I guess I will drive a bit further now to this location when I have a craving for Steak n Shake.
