It's a mom and pop restaurant, been there for years and years. Portions were good sized. I ordered corned beef and hash with grits. Service was good. Coffee was okay. Very nice friendly .. hometown restaurant with good food and atmosphere. Wife had french toast with turkey bacon and scrambled egg white I had a full order of French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Also had a chicken biscuit with cheese. The biscuit is homemade BIG and not heavy.

We were looking for a local diner for breakfast and we found exactly that. It was obvious the place was full of regulars. The coffee was hot, the service was attentive and the food was exactly what we expected. Eggs, grits, bacon, biscuit all the classics. I found my pancake to be quite thin and a little tough. I don't think I would order that again, but it doesn't damage my overall five star rating. We were especially delighted with our waitress. Even though we weren't familiar to her, we were still treated very well.
