BEST oxtail and rice&beans in the world. This is my comfort food, my reward, my last $20 its so good

The owners were pleasant, a nice homie vibe. I hate to provide negative feedback ???? but that's how people survive, so I'm reluctant to say that the food was disappointing ????. The white rice tasted like it was only boiled in water; there was no saving it. The cabbage had nooooo flavor at all. The oxtails...???? was missing all types of ingredients. The jerk chicken and curry goat were not what was said to be; I'll leave that there! The only item that was enjoyable was the plantains and drinks. Spending over $100 for food did not go to waste..doctoring the oxtail, and cabbage was a delightful taste. Although they treated you like the family, unfortunately, they just didn't cook like one.????????‍♀️ Maybe I'll catch them again on an earlier day!

First time visitor but definitely will be a regular. I am in the area about 1x a week and saw it while driving and decided to stop in. Met "June" who might be the owner and asked about her business and she was super pleasant and nice. That won me over immediately and then once I got home and tried the food, I was completely sold! Give it a try if you're in the area!!
