The service is great the food though is lackluster at best. The pictures are great though and the drinks were good... worth a visit after afew months when the menu changes.. This is a strange situation. This very good restaurant is located in a distressed and essentially vacant mixed-use property. Makes it look like it is also out of business. Added to this is zero road visibility, you have to know where it is and go there as a destination. Now, done with that, this is a great place! And very much in business, busy and fun. Upscale Mexican, part of a small national chain. Interior very much makes me feel like I am actually in Mexico at a nice restaurant. Food is a cut above, several steps above Encanto. Service is not only good but the staff are dressed in sharp outfits, well groomed and attentive. They have a happy hour with competitive prices, typical limited five dollar bar menu during happy hour, but with better food than is typical. Nice bar. A Mexican restaurant with many options for tequila. The enchiladas and the mac and cheese were spectacular. The prices are a bit on the high side but the quality is top notch. The servers were friendly and quick. The mac and cheese is made fresh with chunks of bacon. The sauce has a good amount of cheese and tastes great. The best mac and cheese from a restaurant so far. It is topped with marinated pork which is cooked nicely and has a sauce which, at first blush was, overwhelming but rapidly the flavours meld into something tangy and the pork comes through. The beef in the enchiladas was soft and had good flavour. The sauces shine through.
