Spice House Restaurant & Lounge

The vibes are very loud and obnoxious. When we entered, we weren’t greeted. Instead, there were 3 women chilling in the front talking about their breasts. We didn’t even realize they were employees until one of them said “how many?” The service was trash. I’m not sure if our waitress had an attitude or if she had a dry personality. The lamb chops were pretty small for the price. The broccoli was clearly steam fresh microwaved broccoli. The best part was probably the barely seasoned mashed potatoes. The food was overpriced and underwhelming. They have no business charging the prices they charge.

TO ME, THE FIRST IMPRESSION MEANS NOTHING. Bree, one of our waitresses, was fantastic. Brunch was the reason for our visit. I was in Atlanta for a few days. THE FOOD AND DRINK WERE AMAZING. WE HAD THEIR FAMOUS PUNCH, AND IT TASTED LIKE RUM. We ordered the wings, jerk chicken eggroll Rasta Pasta with oxtail, and crab cakes. They also have a fantastic DJ. They also had hookah, which was $35 the lady arrived with the hookah and said $42. I've never paid taxes when paying cash for hookah, so this could be an ATL thing for additional money, IDK.

Food was delicious. Service for party of 12 was flawless. Waitress was attentive and prompt. Rum punch was delicious. The crab cake, shrimp and potatoes was yummy. Perfect spot for Sunday brunch. Live DJ was great too!
