Great lunch and wonderful service! Between the three of us, we tried the chopped brisket, pulled pork, slaw, mac and cheese, baked beans, and apples—- all were delicious! The space is super clean and bright, and the staff go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We were happy to support this local business and will definitely be back!
We are visiting Independence from Germany and stumbled upon this place by accident on the day they opened. Had the Alabama Slamma (pulled pork, bacon, sausage … ) and were truly blown away. We ve been back multiple times since. The food is just incredible. Not only best bbq sandwich I ever had (and I went to college in the South) but also - hands down - best mac n cheese. I ll probably dream about that place when I m back in Europe …
Fantastic bbq! The macaroni is outstanding and the food is a perfect blend. The owner and staff were very extremely helpful.
