Southbound

The restaurant is located in an upscale strip mall. The food was delicious, and our server was good. However, I ordered a $30 duck breast entree and received a half of a duck breast. I thought maybe the kitchen had forgotten the other half, but turns out that was the actual portion they were serving. It was about 4 bites of duck. I was very disappointed and felt kind of ripped off. The only saving grace was that our server took great care of us and even discounted the meal. I think this will be the last time I dine here though.

Such a disappointment at this place. The service is slow, our waitress was so busy serving so many tables and it took about 20mins to get our drink that we only just order a bottle of wine. Didn’t get to order food until half an hour seated and she was nowhere to be found. The food was really bland for all the dishes, I had smoked chicken wings they are large size but very very blend really have no smoky taste and not marinated enough to have any flavor in the meat. I tried the mussel also the same, good flavor but very bland. The main I ordered from the menu said it’s squid ink pasta. But it came out a different pasta, and I asked the waitress they didn’t know, took 10mins for them to went back to the kitchen and my food was also getting cold, came back saying kitchen ran out of squid ink but without telling them. Well I think that’s the problem, that I didn’t order this and could have ordered something else. It was already late and we have 5 people in the party everyone already start

Top notch all the way. Steak was cooked to perfection and I have never had mussels cooked properly at any restaurant until now. Most places over cook or to the point of almost over cooked. These were done but still soft on the inside. That chili sauce was the bomb! The criticism I would have would be the selection of mushroom for the steak dish. That type of mushroom is very chewy when cooked. But still the flavors on everything was superb. Don't forget to try the brussel sprouts. The restaurant itself is simply decorated which is nice but the noise level is rather High.
