Soul Fish Cafe

Had dinner at Soul Fish cafe after a long time. The fish is always fresh, but the fries wasn’t so good. Fried okra seems to be the best side. Besides fish, the medium rare burger was better than expected at a fish place.

Food was really good, best fried shrimp I've ever had, catfish was a little thin on meat but great flavor, shrimps were huge.. had Mac and cheese that was also delicious

This was or 1st time in Memphis and 1st dinner. What a disappointment. First the wait staff was okay there is training needed. 2nd the food. I had the blackened trout which look greasey and was greasey, had no flavor, the corn muffin was just sad and the okra was the only thing that I could enjoy. I have never left fish on my plate so you can imagine how horrible this was since fish remained. My wife's plate was no different she had the salmon bland, the greens tasted like they were straight out of the can and when we asked the waitress she confirmed that they were. Sooooooo horrible!!! If I could I would give place a negative 2. The only reason for the one star is that the place was clean. The manager knew we were not pleased and never came to address our issues. Don't waste your time or money go to Red Lobster or Chick-fil-A.
