The food was delicious and fresh. Only reasons I knocked a couple of stars off was because my drink order was Diet Coke. The drink was served was regular Coke. My server disappeared while we ate, so I drank the Coke anyway, begrudgingly. I asked for a refill of DIET Coke to go and was given Sweet Tea. I left it on the table. Then, as I was signing the credit card slip, the server stood beside me a watched my complete the tip. She got more than I was going to give since I didn't want to deal with any fall out. That was very uncomfortable.
First time in at least 5 years, I've had Sonny's BBQ. I noticed that they remodeled the restaurant so me, my mom and my brother go inside to check it out. Very nice decor, clean, great staff and delicious food. BBQ!! What can I say....thanks Tena (hostess/server), very professional and hospitable......I will come back....
Ribs are definitely an A+ meaty and falls off the bone. Wasn't too happy about the sides, I added my own seasonings to the baked beans for my own liking. Will go back for the ribs only.
