Monterrey Mexican Restaurant

So I’ve been eating here for about 20 years and a lot has changed since. Not only did the remodel the restaurant. But everything else changed as well. The restaurant use to give off a homey vibe. Made you feel like you was at a family gathering but now it feels a little cold. The food is still good but you can tell it wasn’t made with love like it use to be. They no longer serve virgin daiquiris which has been my go to drink since I was a little girl. And I do not drink. Nonetheless, go eat here. It’s good. I just miss the old Monterrey.

Just incredible and authentic Mexican food. From the very friendly staff to the delicious and powerful margaritas and down to the tamales and tacos, I highly highly recommend Monterrey!

The margaritas are absolutely bomb and strong. Prices are about 10-20 a plate per person. Food is just ok in my opinion. Some dishes are definitely better than others. Service was great, our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. They almost always have a game playing on the TV too. The only negative thing that I can really think of are the restrooms. Men's and women's are just one stall and not the most pleasant. There's usually a wait to use it. One restroom for about 80 people is not the funnest. As long as you don't use, you're good! I would still come back though.
