Sonic Drive-In

I would like to start off by saying that I love sonic. The drinks are amazing, but almost everytime I have gone, there has been an issue. There are a couple days i am tired getting off work and just want a shake. This is usually an hour off sonics closing time, and every time the shake machine has just been broken. Everytime that I order off the app as well, I have to go back and press the button so they know im here. The app doesn't alert them inside. The store will always have an issue no matter what. The staff will not give change back unless asked to. I waited in my car for 10 minutes waiting for them to bring me $4. Which isn't a lot, but I definitely am not going to leave that big of a tip at sonic when I am not physically handing it to them. Overall the staff feels pretty stuck up and there is always an issue either with stocking, machines, or any other excuse they can get

The service at this location is almost always terrible. I’m talking a 15 wait for a single drink that I mobile ordered ahead of time. This location is the closest to my home or I would definitely go elsewhere. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of their employee, Bubbles, who was the sweetest and most hard working employee I’ve seen! She was so great and made sure I actually received my order with a minimal wait.

I don’t mind waiting for food. I worked in the fast food and restaurant business for 3 years so I get it. But the fact I had to wait 30 minutes for a burger and a shake when 6 cars had arrived after me and received their food before me (within 5-10 min of ordering) was very frustrating. I like this sonic because it’s close to my house but I won’t return to this location after this.
