This is the type of place you worry about getting to big, an to well known, and then quality drops to keep up with the demand. A true hidden gem. Just discovered them the other day an have to say this place blows "high end" Mezcal out of the water. This will now be our go to Mexican food place from here on in.
Very generous portions on my burrito(easily 25% more beef than expected, more than doubling a place cheaping out), solidly organized and constructed so I could eat it on my walk. Taste was good, but lacked a little bit of sharp red flavor(brightness, juiciness, heat) to elevate the food to a 5. Food came at a good speed, even during relatively peak lunch time mid-week.
This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a torta, a sope, and two tacos. The sope was quite good, lots of food and nice flavor. The torta was even better, great flavor throughout. The tacos sealed the deal, excellent in every way. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.8.
