Fish is too soft and the bbq portions are smaller and they are SERIOUS about charging for an extra Sauce and then the manager asks me" if someone gives you Sauce and does not charge to let me know because we run a business here "I was like wow don't worry I won't be back????
Place has gone down hill. They raised the prices and the servers are not friendly at all. The food is good though and plentiful
I am from Missouri, only a little over an hour away from kc or Saint Louis. I've been eating bbq since I was a child. So, I know. I've lived in Chicago six years now and have not found a bbq place that gets the portions, the experience and most importantly the meat right. That is until now. Smoking ms makes me feel at home. Great experience and great bbq.
