Wonderful BBQ near Kansas City. Our first choice was closed so we took a longer drive for BBQ and definitely a good decision. Two of us shared the Sampler Platter and there was enough for three so we took a box home. We tried the bone in chicken, sliced brisket and beef ribs. Loved them all...the rbs were plenty meaty and nicely smoked... several pieces of smoked chicken and a good portion of brisket smoked deliciously. Dietary restrictions: Our server did her best to work with our dietary restrictions
The food presentation was wonderful, also the service was impeccable, atmosphere was impressive. The best backed beens I have had in a awhile!!! Ribs we're fall off the bone . The seasoning rub has a bit to be desired. But! Don't look on the floor between the greeting desk and wall and you will be ok, pretty gross..
Service was good. The entire floor was coated in something sticky. The booth we were sat in was filthy. The brisket came out so smothered in bbq sauce it looked like a soup. Once the sauce was removed the meat itself had no flavor. The waitress never even asked which flavor of sauce so I assumed it would have been on the side. I was disappointed in the amount of toppings on the nachos. Half the plate was left with bare chips after those with toppings were gone. For the quality of food we received I would say the pricing is a little high as well.
