Smashburger

Order was completely covered in grease and oil. Took it back to the counter. The person who bagged it tried wiping the oil off the burgers with napkins. The wrapping was still soaked.The person at the register on November 9th between 6 and 6:30 tried to insist there was nothing wrong with them. He refused to make them again. And refused to give my money back. Told me I had to pay for them a second time to get them remade.After arguing with me a full 15 or 20 minutes, eventually called someone. I was not leaving until either I had my money refunded or new burgers made. The person on the phone eventually agreed to remake the burgers which were not covered with grease and oil this time. I think the first time they dumped the fries without letting them drain. Which leaked oil all over the burgers, and had the bottom of the bag completely soaked. The person at the cash register was extremely argumentative and rude. He insisted I had to pay for the burgers a second time, or be satisfied wi

The food was great. I got the basic double smashburger. But too pricey. This is comparable to a double butter burger at Culver's. Smashburger is about 25%more expensive. Unless I want a beer with it, I probably won't be back. And what's with the decorative theme? The best summary I can come up with is "reddish". Within the same dining room, I see anything from rust red to cherry red to maroon. Even the signage is inconsistent. Pick a pallette and stick with it.

Friendly service, reliably good food , good location and reasonable prices make this a regular stop for our family. Smash fries are Unforgettable. Cobb salad is the excellant healthy option. Sweet potato fries too!
