We ate a weekend buffet. The variety was good but food was very flat tasting. No flavors came through. We ate Chana masala, saag paneer aloo gobhi, mushroom, noodles etc. Did not enjoy.
They’re not bad but over priced. I work in the area nd I wanted something quick so I decided to get some naan nd sauce ! The naan was good but wanted to charge me 16$ for sauce with no protein inside. I believe that’s overcharging for sauce only where I go anywhere else nd they would charge me 5$ for sauce. That’s a whole meal price for dipping sauce for naan ? Ridiculous. Again they’re not bad but I won’t continue to be a customer
Delicious food, beautiful renovated space on the corner of Orange and Grove, excellent prompt service, friendly atmosphere. 10/10 — one of New Haven’s best restaurants, and has been around for a while so you know it’s tested. Always a great meal.
