Silver Fox Grill

Drove from Sumter to see what all the fuss was about. There was about 20-30 minute wait but that was cool because the atmosphere is pleasant. (It was packed & they were working their butts off in the kitchen) TV's & fountain drinks to enjoy while you wait. You can enjoy a seat inside or outdoors. Our server carefully took our order at the table instead of the counter (she saw these old folks hobble in, Lol). All the food was great! Onion rings, chilli cheese fries, Philly steak sandwich combo, Tilapia & shrimp platter, tea & chocolate shake. We got a takeout order of wings for Superbowl. It was refreshing to see folks from all walks of life eating together, speaking, laughing. Please put Silver Fox on your to do list. Bring your patience and an empty stomach. Well worth the ride.

The flounder fish platter special today was excellent! You could tell the oil wasn't too old and it wasn't left down too long. It was just perfect! The hush puppies were the sweet/savory Jiffy kind that I love. It's a little mom and pop run restaurant with great quality. I have been a couple times now and definitely plan to return.

I'm so happy to find this place! I love how welcoming and friendly the staff are. The had that homemade feel to it and it hit all the spots! The food is fresh and tasted fantastic. I am already in love with this place after the first time. They have a huge selection of hot dogs, burgers and wings. Don't forget to try their desserts. I had their strawberry banana pudding and it was super delicious. I think this place is perfect for a casual outting with friends or family!
